JS-505
Analog-style chorus, built on NAM A2
Lush, wide and a little bit wobbly, the way a real chorus pedal sounds. Two knobs, one footswitch, and guitars, keys and synths suddenly sound bigger.

What it is
JS-505 starts with a real vintage analog chorus pedal. We captured the pedal's own tone, the warmth that comes from its input and output circuitry, using Neural Amp Modeler A2 (NAM A2), the same technology used to capture guitar amps. That capture runs inside the plugin, so what you hear has the character of the actual hardware, not a generic digital imitation.
The chorus itself is modeled the way the original works: a short delay that's swept slowly and blended with your dry signal, then softened the way a bucket-brigade chip softens it. Turn SPEED up for a faster shimmer, DEPTH up for a wider, wobblier sound, or keep both low for a subtle thickening that just makes a track sound bigger.
It was made and tested in a working recording studio, and it works great on guitar, bass, keys, synths and vocals. You get the sound of the pedal without the pedalboard, the cables or the hiss.
Simple on purpose
SPEED sets how fast the chorus sweeps (0.3–3 Hz). DEPTH sets how much it moves. Click the footswitch to bypass, and the LED shows when it's on.
Built on NAM A2
The tone comes from a real capture of the hardware, made with Neural Amp Modeler A2, so it has the weight and warmth of the original circuit.
Auto-Calibration
Pick your audio interface or preamp from a list of over 90 and JS-505 sets the right input level for it automatically. Or choose Line or DI and set it yourself.
Mono or stereo
Works on mono and stereo tracks, on guitar, bass, keys, synths, vocals and busses.
